The fact that a little Kewpie doll tags along with the pointer on the Kewpee page is more than a little creepy.

I would add the Friday Night Fish Fry to the list of Racine food favorites. This is not unique to Racine but it is a big deal here. Even restaurants that don't normally feature fried fish will add it to their menu on Friday nights (the Olive Garden in Racine is one example). Also, restaurants here have traditionally featured lake perch and walleye which is not available everywhere. I think that "The Yardarm" is the best place for FNFF. The location by the river, interesting local, nautical art work and the "ships hold" atmosphere make it a Racine experience rather than just a place for fried fish.
